One of the many goals of the Jobs for Illinois Graduates Program is to improve high school graduation rates. This year the JILG program at Massac County High School had a 100% graduation rate. All 37 JILG students received a high school diploma, 92% of these students have already registered for college or have enlisted in a branch of the military and 62% currently have at least a part-time job. The JILG program will be in place next year at Massac with a tentative enrollment of 45 students.
