On her return to Chicago via Midway Airport, Vivian ran into Senator Barack Obama
Vivian Mack (pictured on the far right), one of our JILG students from Christian Fenger Academy in Chicago, captivated over 700 attendees at the Leadership Development Conference Awards this past December in Washington DC. when she addressed attendees from 22 states with her personal story of success, her acknowledgement to JILG, and special thanks to her Career Specialist George Huff.
Vivian’s emotional speech, describing her early childhood to where she is at today, earned her a standing ovation from the entire assembly when she was done. She described how JILG has helped her believe more in herself and feel more confident in addressing her future.
Vivian also got to tour a lot of Washington DC and on her return to Chicago via Midway Airport you will never guess who she ran into. What a great ending to a fun filled few days.
